Abria’s services are provided free of charge to women, teens and couples. We serve residents in the Minneapolis and St. Paul area and beyond. Our goal is to assist those experiencing unexpected pregnancies with the support they need to make a positive choice.
Our services don’t stop there. We walk with them, through pregnancy and the first two years of their child’s life. Our medical and personal services give our clients and their children a healthy start.

Personal Support Services Offered at No Cost
Education –
In the Abria Empowers program, clients receive one-on-one life coaching that combines pregnancy and parenting education with personal goal setting. In this program, clients not only learn how to be the best parents possible but also take concrete steps to achieve the lives they want for themselves and their children.
We also offer Abria Equips small group classes for clients to dive deeply into a particular topic with a staff member or community expert. Class topics have included financial planning, scream-free parenting, and goal setting.
Dads or partners are encouraged to participate and are always welcome. Couples participating together even earn double points at the Abria Boutique.
Life Coaching –
Working with a certified life coach, clients gain clarity to set value-based goals that create a better life for themselves and their children.
Resourcing Assistance –
We help our clients navigate the many additional resources available to them in the community to help them care for their children and achieve their goals.
Material Assistance –
Every time a client comes in for personal support services she (or they, if coming as a couple) earns points to shop in the Abria Boutique for baby equipment, diapers, hygiene items, and clothing. All clients also receive a layette to ensure they have the basics to care for their newborn.
